Two Flag City pitcher's piggy backed combining on a two-hit shutout on Sunday. Grady Mason (Owens CC) went the first four innings striking out four batters only allowing two hits and walks. McEnulty threw four no-hit innings only allowing one base runner and striking out three batters while improving his record to 2-0 on the season.
One bright spot for the Mariners was the pitching performance by its starting pitcher Taylor Seay (Arkansas State). Seay went the first five innings holding Flag City scoreless only giving up two hits and one walk while notching five strikeouts.
