Post Season (Playoff) Format
The GLSCL postseason will consist of a divisional play-off series and a championship series. The top two seeds in each division will advance to the playoffs. Both are the best of three series. The winners will play each other in the championship series.
GLSCL Seeding Criteria for Postseason Play
- Regular Season winning percentage (ties are 0.5 win and 0.5 loss)
- Head-to-Head competition
- Best record against all playoff teams
- Record versus remainder of conference opponents (based on winning percentage) in descending order, starting with the number one seed.
- Runs produced vs Runs allowed ratio
- Coin flip
All post season contest must follow the following guidelines. They must be played to their completion (at least 9 innings) that results in a winner. The "Sudden Death Procedure" and the "10-Run Rule After 7" will still be in effect. All DHs will be two 9 inning games.
PLAYOFF SERIES: (Best of 3 Series)- In 2026, they will start on Mon, July 27, 2026.
Highest seed will host games 2 & 3. If the travel is greater than 240 miles, there will be a travel day between games 1 & 2 unless both teams agree to eliminate it.

CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES: (Best of 3 Series)- In 2026, this could start as early as Wed, July 29, 2026 and as late as Fri, July 31, 2026.
Highest seed will host games 2 & 3. If the travel is greater than 240 miles, there will be a travel day between games 1 & 2 unless both teams agree to eliminate it.
