GLSCL begins 2026 season on June 5
The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate Opening Day is Friday, June 5th with four game on the schedule
TROY, Ohio - The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League is excited to announce its schedule for the 2026 season. The 39th season of GLSCL action gets started on Friday, June 5 with four games on the docket.
The first pitch of the season is scheduled to take place on June 5 at Marathon Diamonds in Findlay, Ohio as the Flag City Sluggers host the defending GLSCL champion Lima Locos at 6:05pm.
In a battle of the state of Michigan, the Muskegon Clippers play host to the Michigan Monarchs at Marsh Field with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35pm.
Two more games will follow at 7:05pm with the Hamilton Joes hosting the Grand Lake Mariners at Foundation Field. And finally, the Southern Ohio Copperheads travel to Browne Stadium on Grady's Field taking on the Xenia Scouts.
For the second consecutive season, the GLSCL is fielding eight teams split evenly into two divisions. Flag City, Lima, Michigan and Muskegon will do battle in the North Division. Grand Lake, Hamilton, Southern Ohio and Xenia will compete representing the South Division.
All eight teams will play each other six times, three at home and three away, totally a 42-game regular season schedule concluding on July 25.
The GLSCL All-Star game and Prospect Showcase will once again take place at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio on Tuesday, July 21. It's the 11th consecutive season the GLSCL crown jewel event will be played at Prasco with the game to be played at 7:05pm.
The top two teams in each division will play a best-of-three opening playoff round beginning on Monday, July 27. The winners of the two division series will face off in a best-of-three game championship series to determine the 2026 GLSCL Champions.

The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate, founded in 1987, is a wood-bat league that is certified by the NCAA and is partially funded by Major League Baseball. The GLSCL is a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity that is one of 12 members of the National Alliance of Collegiate Summer Baseball (NACSB). The league currently consists of 8 active franchises in Ohio and Michigan boasting several players that have earned service time in major league baseball.
